The benefit is twofold you reduce your engine bay temperatures and increase exhaust gas flow 2 important factors in both engine performance and reliability. The wrap is also useful as a heat shield for example exhaust components near your sump or chassis. One roll is 15 m x 50 mm enough for up to most kinds of 6 cylinder manifolds.
