Thermostatic Oil Cooler Take Off Specification This thermostatic sandwich plate is fixed between the engine block and the oil filter and allows the installation of an engine oil cooler. The integrated thermostat reduces flow through the cooler when cold to help promote a quick rise in temperature. From 75°C onwards the thermostat opens and the oil flows freely through the cooler keeping temperatures stable. Hose fittings are -10 AN (Dash 10).
