It is designed to be used within a custom FMIC (Front Mount InterCooler) setup with the help of silicone hoses and elbows or as a replacement for another kit such as Mishimoto Japspeed Driftworks etc...By upgrading your intercooler in both size design and materials you are improving the charge air cooling - therefore increasing both engine power and reliability. Front mounted it can replace your existing intercooler which is often too small and badly positioned. This position favors heat exchange between ambiant air and compressed air from the turbo or supercharger.
